The Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98 by Johannes Brahms is the last of his symphonies. This is a contemporary take on the 2nd Movement. In this track we hear the piano developing a groove out the bassoons’ opening material. Pizzicato punctuations add a more detached flavour whilst soaring violins and cellos initiate a slightly more eerie vibe. Excellent for period dramas, landscape scenes or pensive moments.
